What I Wore: September Days

By all these lovely tokens
September days are here,
With summer's best of weather,
And autumn's best of cheer.
~Helen Hunt Jackson
I have been in my glory this week.
The days are cool but sunny, and the nights are chilly enough for a fire. And the layers are back, baby! The beauty-full weather must get my mojo going, because I finally got around to recreating a few of my favorite Pinterest outfits.
{You can follow me on Pinterest by clicking here.}

Here's the original {posh} version of the outfit:

Here's my  budget-friendly version:
 Sweater: Banana Republic
Gingham shirt: Old Navy
Jeans, flats: Target
Pearls: Dress Barn {I think? They're old!}

I love this one, too, but it seems a bit on the summery side.

When I saw this dress at Target, though, I knew I could re-imagine it for fall.
 Dress, belt : Target
Jeans: Old Navy
Boots: Keens
Necklace: Allora Handmade

I felt like this dress/sweater combo was cuter in real life, but the angle of the photo doesn't do it justice.
 Sweater, dress: Lands End
Belt: Target
Shoes: Macy's

 I love this sweater {I have it in gray, too}. It's  like wrapping up in a big ol' blanket.
Sweater: Lands End
Tee, flats: Target
Jeans: Silver

That's it for this week... I'm off to drink apple cider and jump in a leaf pile.
I'll be linking up here:

    1. It's so cozy and warm too. It's wool, so it can be a bit itchy around the neck, but I can live with that! ;)

    1. I'm kind of embarrassed to admit this, but I'm usually still up. I'm kind of a night-owl, though. Lindsey usually puts the post up at midnight, west coast time, so I just wait till it's up.

  25. I really like your pairing of the dress and jeans. I don't wear pants, the occasional legging to go under skirts/dress and during fall/winter. I never feel like I can pull off the look. You look adorable!
