What I Wore Wednesday

Welcome to WIWW!
pleated poppy
I'll be linking up with Lindsey at The Pleated Poppy.

I've been trying to pull items from the back of my closet lately. It seems like I wear the same handful of clothes regularly, and the rest are relegated to dark, forgotten corners.
Here are a few outfits from the past week...

Cozy, lazy day.
 Sweater: Old Navy
Tee: Boden
Scarf: Target
Jeggings: NYDJ
Boots: Macy's

My birthday suit...
Okay, not that  birthday suit, just what I wore on my birthday.
Scarf, belt: Target
Dress: Shade Clothing
Jeggings: NJDJ
Boots: Keen
Petal Pusher: The Pleated Poppy

This dress is so much cuter in real life. The picture and angle {my tall husband took this one} don't do it justice. It's simple, but comfy and surprisingly flattering.  You'll just have to take my word for it.
Dress: Land's End
Necklace: Allora Handmade
Tights: Target
Boots: Macy's

Casual layers for running errands.
Scarf, Tee: Old Navy
Sweater, flats: Target
Jeans: Gap

  1. Stopping by from The Pleated Poppy - these are all so cute, but my favorite has to be the second one. The yellow accessories are perfect with the black dress!

    1. They are great boots, especially since they are waterproof. A must for MN girls!

  4. Great birthday suit and I like your black boots.

Question: I know you have warm boots, and I'm wondering what are your warmest boots? I really need a warmer pair, because my feet are freezing. Thanks!

The casual outfit with the red scarf is super-cute. I like it a lot.

    1. Hmmm, my warmest pair is probably my Emus. They are similar to Uggs, but with thicker fleece and they are supposed to be more weather-proof than Uggs. I sprayed mine with some waterproofing stuff and so far they've been okay. I wouldn't wear them sledding or to shovel though, for that I stick with my Sorels. Either way, my toes are still usually cold! I have yet to find something that truly keeps my toes warm, so I usually wear wool socks too!

    1. Sigh~ spring is still so far away I don't even want to think about it. My pet peeve is when all the stores put out spring clothes in January, and we won't be wearing them for 5 months yet! ;)

  16. Happy birthday!! I love wearing a special outfit for birthdays. And are those boots Keens as in the company that makes sandals? I didn't know they made boots, too. Those look really nice!
